I was just wondering how big of a headsail you can put on a continuous line furler. I have a 165 that is in great shape but would need to be cut down so that it wouldn't drag on the deck. Is this too big for a furler?

If it's a continuous line furler, you're theoretically unlimited as to headsail percentage.
IMO, technically, you'd be dealing with way too much sail!

It would depend on the weight of the sail material.
If the sail can be hanked on then it can be furled.
a 165 of light weight could be very useful in light airs. if it is much over 3 oz material then it will hang like a drape in all but a gale.
