I have a Catalina 30 that the hot water does not work on the Hot water side of the faucet. I get cold water and I'm getting water pressure to the water heater but nothing at the faucets. Is there a air lock and a way to bleed the water heater ?

Pressure relief

There should be a prv on the water heater. It looks like an elbow fitting with a shiny small handle and a spring on it. Run the system and pull up on the handle. Air should vent and then water. Also check the output hoses, as well as the strainer on the sink faucet. Could be blockage upstream of the heater. Stu

Pressure valve

Tryed the P R V and water comes out there but not at the faucet's. I will check the strainer on the faucets this weekend.

Check the Check Valve

There's a check valve on the input side of the water heater. Check to make sure that it's not in backwards. Steve Alchemist #909

Two possibilities

Do your hear air when you turn on the hot water at the faucet? if so, you've got air in your lines (simply make sure you have enough water in your hot water tank). If you get nothing at all your line is blocked. The caviat to that is if your cold water looses pressure, or your pump cycles when everything is turned off. Then you have a leak. The pressure system is open, both hot & cold are either pressured, or not. Assuming you have the normal system setup. Let us know what it turns out to be!
