hello all
So I have a fairly new raritan hot water heater..... 5 gallons. Works great ac as well as off engine. However preasure valve seem to leak while operating engine. I have replaced a couple of times in 4 years and ready to do again. btw... I buy the manufacturers part. Water getting too hot obviously. Anyway to regulate this as it doesn't seem right. Engine does not get above 160 degrees as tested with meter held on thermostats housing......

How come?

Thanks!

A slow leak is unlikely a result of 160degree water. More likely a dysfunctional pressure valve. Might be time to 'stray' from mfg part to something more common found at the big box stores which are interchangeable.
