Hot Water Heater

I need to replace the hot water heater in our H31. Does anyone have any tips on how, what size or manufacture to replace it? It looks like removing the sink and the panel in the cabinet under the sink will give access for removal. All information will be appreciated.Thanks,Gerry BogertTwo Drifters

Seaward 6 gal.

Gerry:A Seaward 6 gal is a direct replacment. It may also be the original one. You just need to make sure that you get the correct model with the fittings in the right place. I do not remember the model.Under the sink is the access method.

Hot water tank removel

Yes I had to do this be for,you have to take the hotwater heater cover off #1 open the seat and go down below, un screw the cover,it is a pain in the ass,but dissconnect a/c power/and any hoses tou see in the front of it(under the sink)and just take the cover off to get to the tank.thats the only way, the tank just fits thru the hole .I left water in it the first year,it split bad ,But I had it repaired,the tank are only 250 to 300 Dollars.I think In the Sail book you buy at the news stands

Thanks for the information. Yes it is a Seaward I just finished removing the old one. It was not difficult and only took about 30 minutes. I need the model with the heater lines in the rear.Thanks again
