If you have a 2000 or newer boat and are having problems generating hot enough water while motoring. Please let me know. I'd like to know what engine you have and what brand of water heater. Pat McCartin Inland Marine Diesel kd4yor@hotmail.com

Universal 26 HP XPB (I think) and Seward water heater. Heats fast under dockside power and slow using the engine heat exchanger. I had the boat yard check out the plumbing system to see if there was a problem - they said no problemo.

What I'm working on...

I have a neighobor with a Beneteau that is having the same problem. I was hoping to find other people with a Westerbeke 30B3 that are also having a problem. I don't understand the Universal, they use large fittings for good flow of the coolant to and from the heater. Pat
