Hi Peggy. I am going to replace the hoses and noticed (two heads, one holding tank) one has a loop in it which is higher than the tank itself and the other goes over the tank before going to the Tee connection and into the holding tank. Is this loop necessary or can I just connect a hose straight from the head to the tank?Seems silly, but it would be easier to replace the 10 gallon tank with two 10 gallon tanks back to back and a short hose section connecting them. The reasons are I would not have to cut as big an enterance hole to install each. The reason for replaceing the one I have is its dimentions are wrong for the space. Also, can I use a diesel tank for a holding tank? If yes, I can move the whole thing to the bilge area (LOTS of room) and gain a lot of storage space under the seating area where the tank is now.Lastly, the guy is giving me the money for the dock, with a notarized letter, that there will be no strings attached. He just felt he owed it to me for taking him out all last season and letting him sail the boat (with me on it)!
