Hose Identification

Hi everyone! I just bought a 1994 Catalina C270 LE and the surveyor said I should replace a hose on its Perkins M20 103-06 before they start leaking. He also sent me a picture of the cracked hose. I have not yet taken delivery of the boat but am trying to queue up parts for when it arrives on May 10th. Can anyone tell me what the brownish colored hose (with the cracks) is for behind the water pump hose? I cannot find it on any diagrams or in any pictures I look at on-line. Sorry that I do not have a more distant photo but it is the only one the surveyor took.

Looks like a coolant hose to/from a water heater. The other one in the foreground is probably the other hose to/from the water heater. A good high quality automobile heater hose works there..

These days you can get hose in many colors. I have blue hose for the fresh water loop to the heat exchanger and black for the raw water side. You can order silicone cooling hose by the foot of pretty much any ID.

Home Pepot or ACE hardware carries just about everyhose you will need. There are some built with a specific kink that can not me matched but with some ingenuity you can find the solution.
