I'm looking for a spare motor for my Simpson Lawrence Horizon Express windlass. Before leaving the boat in Antigua and heading to the States, I copied down the part number from the manual as 60533112. Searching the internet for that part seems to bring up 60533212 (pyacht.com, go2marine.com). Maybe I copied the number wrong (too much time in the sun? too much rum?). Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Your part number is wrong. It's been wrong in the manual for years but Lewmar has yet to correct it. The correct number is 60533212JM. These are made in Scotland. I tried to get brushes for mine but they were impossible to get. I got a new motor last year. Florida Rigging in Riviera Beach should have one.
