Does anyone have a source for Hood InMast furling parts? I've got a Hood System that was installed at the GulfStar factory in 1979. It is in great shape, works perfectly, but the fitting on the front of the mast into which you place the winch handle to roll the sail in or out has developed a crack that has me worried. The fitting appears to be out of some sort of rubber or composite material, and does have some load on it as it has a locking mechanism that indexes to allow for reefing of the mainsail. Any leads for Hood parts would be appreciated. I'm going to try Rig Right as soon as I get a good picture to send. I've looked on the internet, but since Hood was sold in 2004, the purchasing company doesn't seem to supply parts for older spars.
