First, thanks y'all for info on my presale questions. When the boat was being rerigged at the lake, we discovered the the sheave on the to of the hood furler has in poor shape and the plastic coated wire was losing it's coating. When we tried to hoist the headsail, the line was jammed. I called hood and they said the parts are no longer available. That just means they do not sell them. The question is, has anyone found a replacement for the sheave. I am going to hoist my daughter to the top to try to free up the line. I am hoping the I could possible replace the part at the same time.
