A couple of days ago I submited a problem I was having with my motor cooling water. The topic was viewed 205 times, with only 2 responses. Thank you, TOM. The line was clear, but the hard plastic piece the line connects to, going through the casing was clogged. I can't say it was a spider, but your reply gave me the insight to check the line first. In 10 minutes the motor was running with full flow. Thank you!!!

Frank, I would have responded

but I know nothing about that engines or outboard motors in general. So I looked at your question and thought that someone qualified should be allowed to give you a good answer. That's what happened, But if it will make you feel better I will reply and tell you that I don't have a clue but I care. ;-)

It's not that no-one cares...

... but thatmany will read to see if they can help. Having read, like Ross and I and 200 others, we found that we did not have the specific information you needed. If it had been an Evinrude Yachtwin then I could have helped! You got a response that helped you solve the problem...the forum worked.

Two good responses are more

useful than 203 guesses or opinions. The object is to solve a problem and it looks like you did.

And then there are some that don't like

the answer that they do get. Glad it worked for you. Stu
