I am about 90% sure that I will buy a 2002 Honda 9.9HP outboard for my OD25.I would like to know if anybody has any experiences with one ,good or bad.Thank you for everyones input on my last question[outboard engine].Scott especially interrested in hearing from you,seeing you have one. Thanks again everybody .Jack

They are bulletproof

I owned a Honda 9.9 for 4 years and it drove an Ericson 25. Never missed beat, electric start, alternator -all the power you could ever need. They are expensive and hard to find used-so they hold their value. Be sure to put yours on a garelick heavy duty (best) bracket, well backed up.
