This yacht is yawing around so much, and doesn't have sufficient drive: some more canvas up, or even just snugging that jib sheet to avoid spilling so much air, and adjusting course to keep it drawing steadily, would allow the yacht to move along faster (still slower that the following seas, so no danger of surfing/plowing) and follow a straighter course. She's wallowing through more than 90°, and bouncing around like a rubber ducky in a bathtub because she doesn't have enough way on.Big seas, little breeze calls for sail area. Being too timid means a drunken, staggering, aimless wake.Fair Winds,Jeff
