I have to replace the floor leading to the port aft berth on my 1984 h31 due to a leak. Does anyone have a lead on getting replacement Holly & Teak laminent that is used on the Marine Plywood? Has anyone replace the plywood with planking instead? How does it hold up and look?

Check out a product like Loncoin

Check out a product like Loncoin. I believe that it is make by Pirelli Tires. This product can be glued down with spray contact cement. It is very durable and is much easier than dealing with teak/holly again.

Try sanding it first. It might clean up

better than you think. If it stays dark, try one of the teak brighteners. Another approach is to paint it with a good grade of alkyd porch and floor enamel with a bit of nonskid in it.

Sanded It

I took a Belt sander to the floor and it came up beautiful. I then covered it with a clear coat and am good to go. Thanks for all your inputs.
