Re-assembled compression post back in place.

Here goes Ed...finally got the parts all put together...compression post is back in & all looks very strong and stable. Will add the lateral movement preventing plates at the base next, but you get the general idea.
Back in the water today!!
Feels much better even if it looks like a couple days to clean up and ready to sail again.
cheers

Good pics, Bob. Well done. Your interior shot brings back such fond memories of my 33. She sailed so nicely, particularly upwind. Oh well, if I had her back I would miss my 37. Thanks for rescuing such a wonderful boat.

Looks like you did a fantastic job, Bob. Really gives me something to consider... As an aside, what are the 4 items with the small white loops we can see on the headliner? Thanks. Ed H

too funny Ed. I thought about when someone would notice those. The lenses on our old plastic portlights have been changed and the springs are no longer with us, so we have attached small zip ties to strategic spots where they will hold the portlight lense open. Rube Goldberg style.
cheers
Bob
