Holes in rear fold down seat

On my 44DS I had to drill a couple small holes for drains.

That's not from the factory, guessing previous owner did modification for some reason

Yes for sure not from Factory and previous owner must have made them
for something maybe more water drainage but most likely had some thing placed in those holes like some kind of seat.
I have a hole in the very middle of mine for a added on seat.

I'll bet it was to allow water to drain out of the seat.

I agree it was probably for drainage. They drain very poorly without more holes. Could also have been a seat setup.
