Hole in my holding tank.

We own a '87 Legend 37. Our holding has a hole that I temporarily patched with epoxy putty. I would like to replace the tank over the winter. Anyone experienced with this problem that can offer suggestions? On this particular model the tank is impossible to access.

Bill,I gained access to my holding tank by cutting out an access panel under my navagation table. By removing all the hoses and sink drain hose etc. you can manoever the tank out under the vanity door in the head. Its tight but can be done.Good LuckBarrie

Read the article on replacing hoses in the Head Mistress forum Reference Library before taking anything apart. And btw...as long as you have to replace the tank, replace all the hoses too. If it's not necessary now, it will be...and if you have to go to all the work that it takes to replace 'em, it makes no sense not to.
