hole in galley wall???

I thought I'd posted this earlier, but maybe not-

What I am thinking of doing is putting all the electrical panels and switches on a panel that would hinge into the cabin, versus having to go into the bilge.

Anybody see any downside to this?

nope... it sounds like a great idea if you have the room to do it.

im not sure how your boat was originally set up with its electrical panel, but typically you can pull the screws out of the panel so you can tilt it out of the hole to access the wiring behind it.... so you dont have to stick you head in behind it to work on it.

and Yes, you posted the question in another thread, but with a different title... go to your control panel and check your subscriptions... you will find it.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I hope to do the same thing when I install the new Blue Sea panel that has been sitting on the shelf for two years.
For now I just remove the screws and pull the panel out a bit.
