I've just purchased a C30 with what appears to be the original holding tank under to port side sette. Does anyone know the capacity of the tank?

I have a 81 c-30 and it holds about 20 galions. You will know when it's full, just look out the head window and you will see a stream of poo flowing down the deck! The tank vent is at the base of the stanchon.

You don't REALLY ignore the tank level till it overflows...'cuz that's guaranteed to plug your vent line or the thru-hull sooner or later. Nothing should ever pass through a holding tank vent line but air.
