holding tank

Hunter 35.5.......i need to replace my holding tank. in order to get to it i have to cut a hole in the back of my aft cabin. i want to make this an access-way to the holding tank. is this wall structural? will it compromise the integrity of the boat to cut through and make an access? thanks.david

Hole in the Wall

David, I just finished having the marina cut the opening in the rear bulkhead of my 35.5. I have a friend who has this mod on his 35.5, so I took measurments of his opening. I now have access to the BIG 14 gallon holding tank. My next challenge is to pick out a Ronco tank and have it made. I have pictures, but they are still in the camera. My boat is a 1995 model. Send me your adress or fax number and I will send you a copy of my drawing for the cutout.Jim
