peggy, I am replacing my old vent with a larger diameter one like you suggested. the old one had an upward loop just before exiting I guess to keep water out. do you recomment doing that or just going straight out. thanks. richard
Only the fuel and water tank vent lines should have an arch in them...a few ounces of sea water in a holding tank doesn't matter...but you don't want ANY in your fuel or potable water.
