Holding tank replacement

While on my Hunter legend 37 today - beautiful spring day in Wisconsin 60 degreees and sunny - getting her ready for spring launching, I noticed that there was some drippings coming from the head tank holding area.I have rsad where some of you 37 owners had some problems with the alumiminum tank.What is the procedure to replace - access to the tanks stinks (pardon the pun)- the holding tank???What tank did you use??Thanks Tim GabrielseHunter Legend 37BLAZE

Replace

My person next to me who has a 37 just replaced his. He had a new one made for around $250. I think he had to cut the top off to get it out.

Holding Tank

Tim, After I bought my 87, I learned that the holding tank had some prior problems. The past owner left the old tank in place (hammered wooden thru-hull plugs on the hose barbs of the old aluminum tank) and located a new polypro tank under the nav station. Not sure I would have done it that way, but after looking at the poor access, I can understand why he did. Looks like you'ld have to remove the whole vanity otherwise (which I will do at some point).
