I bought a 1985 Catalina 27 - but it has no holding tank. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a manufacturer for a holding tank that would fit under the V-birth (maybe trapezoidal rather than rectangular so I can get better use of space).
I did the holding tank under the "V"Berth conversion on my 1980 C-27 last year and have a brand new extra tank available if you're interested. It is about 19 gallons and stands up against the rear most part inside the "V" Berth. If you're interested, let me know. My installation worked great! Regards, Frank Davanzo
I'm interested if I can get it to fit. I can't put it up against the rear of the V-berth though because of some instruments there (thru hulls & well for a depth sounder) which would be painful to move. Can you send info on shape and dimensions?

Bill, I have a 1982 C-30 that was in need of a new holding tank. I inpected the tank and found the manufacture on the tank with a part number that was 20 years old. I contacted Ronco which manufactured tanks for catalina's. Low and behold they will manufacture a tank for you. Thier web site is www.ronco-plastics.com Phone Number 714-259-1385.
