Holding Tank Maintenance

Hi Peggy,

I've read that leaving the boat for a while with Calgon Water Softener (and maybe a bit of detergent), in a holding tank full of fresh water will dislodge sludge from the tank walls. What is your opinion of this? Thanks very much
