We believe our holding tank was full and leaked. We have a 1994 Catalina 320 with the shallow bilge and we have determined that some of the fluid has leaked thorugh the corner, under the tank, into the grid system and not necessarily into the bilge. Does anyone have any idea as to how to go about cleaning it up, as we don't seem to be able to access this are. We don't think there is much left liquid left but want to make sure...

Buy some Rariton KO and mix it with water and spray or pour it into the area that leaked. I keep a little in my bilge water at all times so don't worry about where it goes under the grid.

Peggy can do a better job of explaining the difference than I can. But here goes, KO contains microbes that give off oxygen as they consume waste instead of sulphur that most microbes give off. She will probably correct me, but anyway KO doesn't have a bad odor. I regularly put a cap full in my bilge.
