Hi,
I just bought a 1987 Catalina 30 that had a pretty bad smell in the cabin. We found out it came from the hoses and the holding tank. We first changed all the hoses, but the bad smell remained. So we decided to change the holding tank.
The tank was a Ronco B-123. I tried my very best but couldn't get it out in one piece as it seems to be too large to fit in the port side settee opening. I had to cut a portion of it to get it out.
I'm currently ordering a new Ronco B123 to replace it.
Has anyone done this job? Any tips on how to install it without cutting the fiberglass?
Many thanks
Jean
