It's not hard to do

First some questions: Where's the head located in the boat--forward or aft? Where is the current tank located? I ask because the current tank may or may not be in the best location for a holding tank...and if it isn't, a different location may even make the job easier. Your best source for a new tank is Ronco Plastics http://www.ronco-plastics.com They make TOP quality rotomolded plastic tanks for a very reasonable price, and have more than 400 sizes and shapes, over 100 of which are non-rectangular...and they install fittings in the sizes and locations specified by the customer when they make the tank. Your boat is nearly 30 years old...which brings up a couple more questions: how old is the toilet? How old are the hoses? Replacing only the tank when a toilet is worn out and the hoses are old and brittle--and maybe also permeated with odor too--is kinda like getting dressed up without taking a bath first. Otoh, if they're fairly new and in good shape, no need to replace. We can discuss the best choices for each if you do. Before you start this project, you MIGHT want to check out the link below. Several chapters include instructions you'll find useful.
