I does any one know where I can find a pumpout nozzle attachment that fits the holding tank, deck fitting on a 1984 H-34? It does not have threads instead it has two dog ears to lock the nozzle in place.

Easier way

You should change the deck fittind as I did, it's much easier. Yves langlois sv OPIUM

Deck attachment latches to the hose fitting.

Bo: If you look on page 456 of the West Marine catalog (lower left) they sell all the fittings for you deck fitting. You screw the fitting into the deck, clamp on the hose and pump.

What's he gonna thread a fitting into, Steve?

His deck fitting doesn't have any threads. And, with the exception of the of the neoprene "nozall" that you just jam in and hold, no fittings are still made that will fit the type of fitting he has. Yves' suggestion is the best one: replace the deck fitting with the current "standard" threaded type. The pumpout adapter that fits 'em is 1.25" thread x 11.5 TPI (threads per inch).

Conclusion-Holding Tank Deck Fitting

Thanks to everyone that replied to my request. All the input was very helpful. It appears that the compatible nozzle originally designed for use with the existing deck fitting is no longer in production. The "nozall" type nozzle was tried however; it did not work because the "dog ears" on the current fitting prevent a good seal. Therefore I believe the best alternative solution is one suggested in a reply: "Replace the deck fitting with the current "standard" threaded type. The pumpout adapter that fits 'em is 1.25" thread x 11.5 TPI (threads per inch)." Thanks again…Bo
