Im looking at a 1978 H30 for sale but Im curious bout something.....How can one tell from the HIN of the boat, if she is a shoal draft or deep draft hull?

If you are "looking" at
a H30 to buy, then look at it while it's in the slings during your survey -- that, not the HIN, will tell you what the boat draws. Also, don't depend on anyone telling you what a boat draws, including the owner or broker. Many times even owners don't know the actual draw of their own boats. Trust your own measuring tape....

Pete, I agree, Ive not gotten that far with this boat yet....still doing my own investigation...havnt hired the surveyor yet.
