Hello O'Day Owners,What information is contained in the hull number for my O'Day 30?HIN: XDYS01G1M79KDoes this number indicate which of the companies associated with O'Day production made this hull? Does it indicate the keel configuration? Does it indicate the number this hull occupied on the assembly schedule?Thanks, Phil

The telling HIN

XDY signifies that is was made by oday corpS01G1 is the serial number which can be deciphered further:S signifies the model name. (Mine was D for Daysailer) not sure what the S stands for in yours.01G1 is likely an error that should be 0161 which is the sail number and also the hull number in this case.The M was common letter to all HIN which was followed by the year of manufacture (1979) and month.
