My new to me 1980 CS 27 sailboat has a HILLERANGE Alcohol Stove.
When it is operational, and the wheels/ dials are ready to adjust the flame, if the wheel is turned too far counter-clockwise, the flame is reduced and goes out. Same when turned off or clockwise.
Is this normal and if not is there a fix that I should consider? Mid point flame is fine and no problem boiling water etc..
I do not want to get into the debate re alcohol stoves.. It used very little... just want what I have to operate as manufacturer intended..
Thanks
