What a relief

Knowing its not my computer,I just ran two programs to get rid of this kind of crap! and it was till there. The internet police should ban forever people who hijack computers and websites.

If you come in through "24hour Forum activity"

There is no problem. If you come in through the forums, you get hijacked. I just e-mailed phil. Hopefully he can crush the problem. r.w.landau

Its probably TCS!

Solved

Someone put a forwarding tag in the title of a post in Ask All Sailors. That's been removed, the security hole has been closed, we know where they posted from, and we know the poster's email address. Just to be on the safe side, I suggest you check your cookies for anything from usuc.us (I didn't have anything) and also run a spyware checker. Thanks for the heads-up! This always happens on the one day I decide to sleep in, of course.

I checked mine

I caught on when all 6 of my computers did the same thing. Shoot me, I'm a computer geek...

Haw! We just had power restored. With DSL,

no power = no Internet. That's the one thing the generator can't fix. Sounds like a lucky outage.

Course Apache would not even

let a hacker get that close. But then Apache is free and only the most used web hosting software on the planet. You do not always get what what you pay for!!
