HID location

Need a little help on locating Hull Identification Number plate. I know the HID, but a surveyor needs a picture of the plate for a refinance. My initial surveyor never found it and I do not recall ever locating it.

I am confident that someone in our 310 community will know where I should look. Thank you in advance.

My HID is written on the hull at the same location just below the rubrail. My Hull is 293. Isn't there a metal plate somewhere with the HID and some other information on it?

Looking at it now and all it has is the model and hull number on it. Don't know if that is what you are looking for.

 

[Long Story]

The official HIN is on the port side, all the way back at the end of and below the rub rail. It has some stamped numbers with manufacture code and model, and then etched with sequence number.

There is a tag with printed data that on my boat is inside the battery area and epoxied over. If your looking for a plate that has the HIN and capacity info, there is none. Boats of this size are not required to post a horsepower rating or capacity.

The metal plate in the cockpit tells the standard the boat was built to.
