Hey Phil ... Fuel Vent Whistles in Chandlery?

Well, once again the fuel vent on my Hunter 34 dribbled fuel before any sign of the tank being full this weekend. I read a post a few weeks ago about someone who has a whistle installed in their fuel tank vent line. As long as they can hear the whistle caused by air passing through the vent line, the tank hasn't gotten full. As soon as the whistle stops, you know that the tank is full. I have been trying for hours now to find a place where I can purchase such an item. No luck. I found a dozen sites suggesting that everyone should have them installed, but no suggestions about where to buy one. Phil, might make a good addition to the chandlery. I doubt it will make anyone rich, but it could certainly help keep our water a little cleaner. Thanks for a terrific site! Gary

All it Needs?

If only Hunter would mount the tank breather higher than the filler. My 376 has the breather about 10" below the filler yet there is plenty of space on the cockpit coaming some 8" above the filler. I would move it up but don't like the idea of having to fill the empty hole. Worse, when full and I sail on starboard tack I leave a trail of diesel when the tank is full. Should somebody explain this to Alachua?
