As any H240 owner knows ... you can only velcro your instruments for so long. So, I designed this panel with that unused space (see Photo Forum) in mind. I have diagrams as PDF files if anyone is interested. It fastens to the back of the galley sink with four large bolts and wing nuts (it also have two "legs" to help take some of the strain). The back of the box is cut at an angle so you won't bump your legs when you sleep. I ran the speaker wires into the access panels for the winches and voila ... instant entertainment. It's been great. Handiest little addition to our boat we could ever make (oh ... the cam cleat replacement for the jib sheets was also needed).
Yes.........very cool modification. My boat's a 23 with sliding galley. Does your galley slide or do you just leave it out all the time? I'd like to see the line drawings please. sailordog@hotmail.com
