Hey Don, I'm assuming you've made your move. Did you sell your C30 here in L. Beach, or did (do) you plan to move it out to the southwest with you? Just curious.

C30 sold

Anchor Down: Nope, we have not moved yet. The movers come 9/9 and then it is off to Lake Havasu,AZ while our house is being built. I sold the C30 last year. It went in under 3 weeks. Part of the reason for the quick sale was I priced it right and I had every upgrade that Garhauer makes plus nice things like a teak and holly floor, 25XP engine with less than 400 hours, new sails etc. I originally bought the boat for $17,500 and sold it for $24,000 but I probably just broke even on the deal with all the upgrades I put into her. It was a sad day when I let her go. When I gave the owner the keys I stepped off the boat and walked down the dock and did not look back. I just couldn't watch her leave the dock and I didn't - not even from the parking lot. I started looking at C34's but that all changed when we decided to leave SO Ca but we did not know where we were going but we knew we were going somewhere. Instead, I bought a bigger motor home - a 1998 Southwind 33 with a slide out. Its my land yacht. We've traveled all over the western states in it (looking for possable landing spots) but I'm always drawn to marinas. I've spent my entire life by the ocean on either the east or west coast. I might become a trailer sailor. Last week I was in Tucson and I saw a neat C25 and a MacGregor22 that was in pristine condition. The Mac22 would be ironic because a Mac22 was the first sailboat I bought when I decided to get back into sailing a number of years ago.
