i just want to know what that saying is ' the best day for a boat owner is the day you bought it and the day you sell it. hats off to your family i just seem to have more fun on mine every time i go up there. my other boats were all cheaper models and i ran them to death. i'm setting this one up to be ahome away from home for me. i think the coolest thing about this design is at night when you open up the v berth hatch and you can see the stars just glowing through. its pretty cool when the admiral gets up on the cabin roof and pole dances to the stereo. idon't know maybe its when i want to watch tv and she wants to play music we can close the doors and everythings all private. thanks to your family for a great design. if your ever are in the neighborhood give us a call i'd be glad to show you around.

Interior design considerations.

Not too sure about the pole dancing reference! We're not all that lucky-- or unlucky-- to have the compression post come down in the middle of a stateroom.... My dad's little 31 yawl that I am working on now has the post in the middle of the vee berth. Could be bad or good-- now that you mention it. Hmmm.... --JC 2

took the boat out for the first time sat

it was an awesome day. the sky was absolutely beautiful. the few clouds looked like cotton balls just sitting in the air. my dog was smelling every tree in the marina. we had brought a down comfortor and planned to spend the night. alas, the robby luck struck a sudden turn, when the admiral informed me she had to make an unexpected trip to the conveniance store. no dancing around the mast today. eventually i cast her off. i was scared shitless as my biggest boat before was a 21. luckily the outboard cranked up on the first pull. we were off. the boat turned on a dime, i decided to let the admiral steer for a minute and she promptly took her in a complete circle. however in a minute she got the hang of it and i let her drive for quite a while, when we got back to the dock she was easy to put in her slip. good luk with that yawl sounds like a cool project.

Should have waited for Sunday

Robbie, You should have waited for Sunday. We have decided to name her "Such A Deal" due to the circumstances of acquireing it. We (my friend from Aqualand) were scooting within a couple of miles of the dam and then up to near you. Winds were 10-15. Had my 150 on the head and the main up full. Great day...

Sure were

We went up again on Friday. Motored out to the lake chanel, then to Aqualand. Tried to get back but the 10 Merc wouldn't make any headway. Had to moor in an empty slip on O dock. Will try to get back to Holiday on Sat. These 27's are really sturdy...
