Wow great deal. I have just started using solar. Maybe a year now. I do not use a lot of power really. Interior lights are LED. I use my handheld VHF and leave the fixed one off mostly. Most trips are 3 days to a week. The TV uses the most but this panel tops it off quickly in the sun. The battery minder works great. I can see when it is charging and when it is full and when it is maintaining the battery. I used the TV for 5 hours and 2 hours of sun the battery was full up. I charge my cell and my tablet mostly. The camframo fan also. I could mount another off the stern or starboard. I just don't use the power. I have a new Garmin GPS/depth finder that I have not tried yet. Will see soon.Thats great. I didn't know and wasn't sure. I bought 4 x 20 watt panels off of Ebay for $150.00 and I thought 2 on the boat would suffice. I have the other 2 for.....??? extra power just in case![]()
eInstalled TV for the real Captain of the boat. She is a Gamecock fan.
I purchased a c-22 in baja before I came back to the states, it's still down there. I've purchased two swivel mounting brackets like the one you use for your tv, to mount stereo speakers that can be directed, where I'd like. Here is my galley. I use a garden sprayer for rinsing dishes and clorox bottles for water storage. I made it lightweight using skin and bones construction. Applied the KISS principle in it's design. Two dish pans store in the lower right side with my tea kettle for heating water. On the left lower side is my cutting board, cast iron fry pan, 3 stainless nesting pots, 4 plastic plates, 1quart canning jar and paper plates. Upper left is the silverware can opener etc.., upper right is spices. Also the side tables flip down for storage. Thinking about replacing the funnel drain with a recessed small sink to empty dish pans in.
