HELP

i have a 1987 cat. 30. it came factory installed with signet instruments. the depth and the speed transducers go to a data bus and from the data bus a cable goes to the display on the pedestal. i need to find the data bus so i can use the transducers to my new instruments. i have climbed over and under and through trying to find these wires and no luck. if someone knows where catalina hid this data bus please HELP.

data bus

I had a 88 30 and put the signet speed and depth on my boat. I am not sure what you mean by a data bus but on my system, I just ran a wire from the sending unit (Paddle wheel, and depth sounder) to the display and hooked up a power wire and that was all there was. I believe the unit was a signet 172. Hope this helps.
