I have just installed a new MSD porta pottie in my Catalina 22, but am unsure about the best way to run the pump out and vent hoses.
I feel I have enough experience with my boat to properly complete this installation, I don't have enough experience to choose the proper routing and placement of the hoses and fittings.
I originally posted in the Catalina 22 group hoping to get some advice from someone who already has a similar system installed, but no advice has been forthcoming, so I thought I would post here.
My first thoughts were to install the fittings on the side deck to keep the lines as short as possible, but this would mean that the lines would intrude into the cabin, as well as requiring a large hole for the pump out in an area near the chain plates. My recent thoughts were to run the lines under the liner and up the bow and put the fittings near the anchor locker. I have attached some photos to illustrate what I had in mind.
What would you suggest is the best way to complete my install?
