Over the weekend my kill switch finally gave up the ghost. I had thought I had devised a repair that would work but this weekend the repair also gave up.The problem I have is that the part that holds the kill switch cable onto the engine bracket broke ages ago (before I bought the boat). I had devised a repair which has since given up the ghost. Without a means of keeping the cable housing stationary the kill switch can't move the govenor lever into the stop position. The challenge is that the part that holds the kill switch cable housing onto the engine bracket is no longer available. At least not from my dealer. Essentially I am looking to contact another dealer lying around or an individual that might have this part from an old engine.Any other ideas? alternate kill switch mechanisms? Going down into the cabin to shut the engine down every time is truly annoying... Thanks all!David
