If you could have help from just one person from this board, in person, on one project who would it be and what project would it be on?

Who is small with strong hands? I would love to remove the entire deck to hull hardware: stanchions, toerails, pushpit, and pulpit. Other H37C owners have stated that they can reach all of the bolts, one every six inches for 74 feet. I am sure that their boats are different from mine.

That is a dream of mine and will never happen in this lifetime.

I'd like MaineSail to come over and do some "maintenance".... we'd end up tearing the whole boat down and rebuilding better than new.... :D

My '91 Catalina 30 has a total of 19 various size blisters on the hull and rudder that need to be filled, barrier coated and painted in a "window" of 3 weeks. I opened them all up when the boat came out in November. This is on top of the usual Spring commissioning work.

So, not much work this year......(he says with sarcasm).

If you could have help from just one person from this board, in person, on one project who would it be and what project would it be on?

Simply put, become better at sailing the boat. The mechanical stuff, at least for myself will not be an issue for the boats I will own in my lifetimes. The combined years of sailing experience of others here is something you just cant put a price tag on .

I have a few blisters that I plan to repair on the next haul out. I was once told that it isn't a sailing yacht until she has blisters.

We need to find a really small and light person that can fit in small places. We can then rent them out by the hour to go up masts and go into the small spaces in the boat. Especially if they were trained in fiberglass, rigging, and electrics.

Help with just on project

My wife. Any project. Then I'll know she's not out spending greatly needed boat bucks on frivolous things like food.

I'd like the help of a frugal (aka broke and obsessed) fellow who really knows paint and could help me to decide the best bottom paint and topside paint to use. Lots of options. Lots of great advise but I'd like to cut thru opinion and get to the truth.

I would have someone come help rewire the entire boat and bring all the lights up to good working condition. I need to put a plan together to create a good bank of batteries.

As much as fixing my leaking fuel injector is a pain, I'd really rather have someone help me compound and wax my hull! For some reason I don't think fixing the injector is going to make my back ache as bad as the wax job!
