Help with Hull ID

My C22 does not have a hull id number on the strbd transom under the rubrail. Where else would they put it? Anyone have a number close to the -3627-? This is the number that is on a plate in the cockpit side of the transom. I figure it is CTYH3627(xx)74, with the xx month I am missing.ThanksMike

I know how you feel. I have been through heck registering an old power boat. Do yourself a favor and put the darn number off your reg. or title on the transom with an electric pencil. It may be illegal has hell, but that is the number they are going look for and that is where they are going to look for it! Good Luck!

They didn't!

Mike,Mine is an older model C-22 ('72) and it also does not have an ID on the transom. Either Catalina didn't put IDs on the earlier models, or the transom was worked on and it was covered up (not by me!).Check out the C-22 NSA site (see the link provided) for details on hull numbering conventions used by Catalina.Brad.
