The 2 pulleys on the deck of the 23.5 Hunter for the Main and Jib Halyards are needing new separator plates to keep the 2 Halyards from either getting jammed down between the pulleys or fouling each other when they derail and end up on the same pulley.
At issue is how the pin holding the pulleys can be removed ... is there a non destructive procedure to remove the pin holding the pulleys in place. There doesn't appear to be any access to this pulley assembly from inside the cabin, or hatch cover. The pin appears to only be accessible from the bow end of the assembly which would allow for easy installation but perhaps no consideration was given for removal?
