I am moving my '83 Huunter 27 from Ohio to Havre De Grace Maryland. The marina is on the Susquehanna River so the boat'll be in fresh water most of the time. Since I'll be a 'live-aboard' and have the boat hooked up to shore power, I need some guidance about how to protect it from electrolytic corrosion. I guess I need two zincs on the prop shaft(??). Should I attach zincs to the cast iron keel? How do you protect the keel bolts? In Ohio the boat was in fresh water for 7 months each year and was never hooked up to shore power so corrosion has never been a problem. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
