My cold machine stopped working. Has power to it , nothing happens at all. Is this a symptom of the control module failed?

Maybe the fuse
The fuse sometimes goes with no apparent reason; also I've had to clean the fuse holder contacts from time to time. Two years ago, my control unit did go kaput; which I determined by measuring some resistances at the connector and talking to Adler Barbour; got it rebuilt for around $100. Dielectric Grease in Fuse Holder
If there is a possibility of corrosion in the fuse holder then puting a bit of dielectric grease on each end should help keep the salt air out. Used the stuff in many other places but hadn't thought of this one.
