Help,I have a 1999 H240 that evidently has the MY2000 stern railing installed on it. I purchased a Bimini for the boat from sailboats.com (made by Ameriseam). The bimini does not have not any usefull instructions with it. I as wondering if anyone had any pictures of their bimini install on a similar boat. It seems to the casual observer that I did not recieve the necessary hardware to complete the install. The folks at Ameriseam have been less than helpful to date however they may come around yet. All I need are some installation instructions or a good picture and I should be able to work it out. Thanks for any help. Mike

Another option for you is to run a search in . .

Yachtworld for the H240 and look at all the ads that come up. I'm in the process of deciding how I want my bimini to fit (on an H280) before I order. It is a bit of a pain because the best place to mount one on my boat is right in the middle of where spinnaker winches would mount and I don't want to preclude that option for the future.

These may help

Mike, I had a H-26 with an Ameriseam Bimini - http://www.sailboatowners.com/upload/display.tpl?folder=73274228981&fno=17 Maybe my pictures will be of help. I agree, the instructions were less than satisfying. They also sent me the wrong stern support posts (way too large, although I didn't realize that until I was trying to install the dang thing!) One thing I did learn is that it's pretty easy to cut the stern supports to size so you get that 'perfect' fit. Dave
