May need to have some similiar work done like this guy.....Lets pray its hopefully not as extensive. http://s454.photobucket.com/user/DavidJCooper/library/Hunter 356 Passion?start=all

nice work one air!! looks like you have your hands full , but its only march..I hope you have it done before may / june so you enjoy the season[/quote]

The pictures are not of my boat they are of someone else's misfortune to hit a rock at what I hear was flank speed with full sails and engine. But I do have the same model boat. Which needs the sub-floor replaced at the base of companion way, galley area all the way to the aft cabin because the hunter factory used the wrong type of non water proof material for the sub-flooring under the teak and holly floor panels. The pictures have been very useful in seeing what I am up against.

I did notice that before I placed a bid on the boat.. I pulled all the floor boards and looked carefully.. there are no cracks around the ribs ( bulkheads?) throughout.. from both the interior and exterior there is no cracking .. where the keel bolts up everything is clean.. but still I acknowledge your observation.. I cant figure it out.. I want to say its just the fiberglass hull flexing because theres too much weight on the keel and not distributed evenly on the stands...but then everything ive read says there should be no weight on the stands.. I even saw a pic of a beached boat standing perfectly out of the water balanced on just the keel ...I don't know .. but every comparable boat I see for sale cost about 75k- 90k..and I stole this one at 8.5k...so if it flexes a bit...oh well.. :) ill get some insurance, sea tow, eperp and I have my cell phone... im going sailing!!!..
Okay so whats really going here in picture is that you should reblock your keel to spreed the weight load to the front of the keel. This is how my boat got the whats know as the smiling keel thing. It was not loaded on the trailer right while being shipped from Florida when new .That and along with a load of "BIG BAD ASS" Stowaways!!!

....

so far I fixed a hole in the bow, straightened out the keel and added 12" to the bottom of my broken off rudder.. but ill get to it

some sanding and ready for gel coat on the bow and bottom paint.. now im on the hunt for a rig..
I know camera angles and re-sizing of digital photo's can create distortions.

The shape of your bow repair doesn't look right and the rudder doesn't seem long enough.

Are you usiing another 352 as a template?

I used a 351 .. the rudders are exactly the same.. I do concede that vertical line of the bow should have continued towards the water line another 2-3" and started to roll under just under the water line
