I am installing 2 foot T tracks on my Hunter 23 to accomidate a new 150 Genoa. I will need to remove the fixed blocks that come with the boat. My questions are: 1) How do I plug the old holes from the blocks without making a huge mess? 2) Is there a preferred procedure for installing the new tracks with regards to sealer, etc? Thank you!

Why Remove fittings

Why remove the factory fittings. I have the factory fittings and a genoa both on my boat. Does not cause me any problem.

Genoa track

Matt, I have genoa tracks on my H23 that are between the wench and jib block. I use the jib blocks for the 110% jib and the genoa tracks with the 150% genoa. Are you looking to use the track for all size head sail? If you would like to take a look at my set up I am moored in Kenmore. Greg Hartgraves S/V Paradise phydough@msn.com

keep the jib fair lead

Matt, I suspect that you will be happier if you do not remove the jib fair lead. I put three ft of T-track on each side of my h23 years ago, located well back of jib fair lead. This gives me a lot of flexibility for where I lead the sheet to, and makes it easier to switch between the two leads underway if circumstances warrant. Plus, I don't have to worry about pluging holes. Jim Kolstoe, h23 Kara's Boo
