Dear folks, I am looking for anyone who knows anything about how well a Capri 25 will do in a PHRF race, rating etc. Also the best way to set up the boat. Any help would be great. Craig

Capri 25

We purchased a Capri 25 in August from the original owner. Its an 82. I still have the original sails that he bought with the boat. I moved up from a fin keel C22 which we had won lots of races with. The Capri 25 is much faster and accelerates much faster. It rates at 175 PHRF. You have to sail it flat. Less than 12 degrees of heel. It helps to have 3-4 people on the rail with a breeze. There is a Capri 25 web site that is not updated very often. Let me know what you've done to your boat and how the racing is going. Gary
